How Does Forma-I work?

Forma-I feels like a warm massage in the eye area, improving blood circula on. The treatment uses radio frequency technology to heat the meibomian glands, which helps liquefy the glands’ oil and improve their func on. This, in turn, helps improve the tears quality and reduce dry eye symptoms.

Intense Pulsed Light (IPL)
Lumecca Intense Pulsed Light, with the Lumecca-I adaptor, treats a variety of vascular and pigmented lesions. The spot-size Lumecca-I adaptor ensures precise, targeted IPL procedures for treating such vascular lesions as rosacea which are associated with dry eyes. Optimized for skin tones I-IV, Lumeeca was developed with an advanced xenon flash lamp producing 40% of total pulse energy in the 500-600 nm range. IPL energy penetrates the skin and is selectively absorbed by lesion chromophores (melanin or hemoglobin). The abosred energy is converted into heat, selectively coagulating the lesions, which fade a few weeks after the treatment. How Does Lumecca work?

Lumecca-I IPL generates tissue heating, which helps reduce inflammation.
